I was expecting changes, I found out I was getting a BIG change!

I started this blog at the beginning of 2010, hoping for changes to come and the "new me" to emerge. I had no idea what life had in store for me...it was a beautiful surprise!

On April 29, 2010 I found out I was pregnant. After a visit to the doctor, they tell me I am 8 weeks along! WOW! What a difference this is going to make in my life, one that I had been wanting for a long time, but I had never tried to get pregnant on purpose. I suppose it was a huge step that I was afraid to take. So learning that I was taking this step (as a surprise) was great news to me and my husband.

I intended to blog about the pregnancy month by month, but time passed and I had so much planning and organizing in my home to do that I just never got around to it.

Found out on July 8, 2010 that we were having a girl!! The whole family was so excited and couldn't wait for the arrival of our bundle of joy! My due date was set for December 10, 2010. We were happy about the timing, my husband's birthday is November 29th and mine is December 15th. So our little one would be born in between our birthdays if not on one of them!!!

Zoey Raeanne was born December 2, 2010 at 4:52 pm.

Our lives have changed so much! So I would like to begin a new blog to share and document memories from the time she arrived and continue as she grows. She is now 3 months old! When people tell you that time flies and they grow so fast, they are so right. It seems like only weeks ago that we brought her home.
